Last night, November 1, 2010, the San Francisco Giants made history. After 52 years, the San Francisco Giants are finally World Series Champions. With doubts coming from all across the country, each of the Giants contributed their skills throughout both the regular and post seasons to earn the World Series Championship title. Tim Lincecum had 10 strike outs in 8 innings and Aubrey Huff hit his first career bunt, but it was Edgar Renteria's 3-run homerun that allowed the Giants to win with a score of 4-1.
To join in on the celebration, there will be a parade in San Francisco tomorrow, Wednesday, November 3, 2010, beginning at 11 A.M. The parade will begin at Montgomery and Washington Street, and will end at the Civic Center Plaza, where the team will be presented a key to the city by Mayor Gavin Newsom.
